An organisation whose main activity is to provide a broad range of [InterNet] services, usually to the retail market. Common services include [DialUp|DialUpNotes] connections, [ADSL] connections, [WebServer]s hosting their members' [WebSite]s, a [WebProxy], [Email] servers, [NTP] servers, [NNTP] servers, [DNS] servers, [FTP] servers (often mirrors of software archives), games servers, ...

Without getting into nit-picks about ISP/IAP differences thankyouverymuch, here are some local (Waikato and New Zealand) ISPs. Please don't add subjective comments - that's what IspFlames is for. Unless specified otherwise, the ISPs are NZ wide (thanks to the 0867/[IPNet] network).

!! [WirelessNetwork]ing providers in Hamilton:
* WiredCountry (in Hamilton, provided by [ICONZ]) - uses the old !GoLive wireless network.  Used to be flat rate until KyleCarter leeched it all.  Now starts at $69.95/month for 512kbit, 5GB cap - see http://www.ezysurf.co.nz/wireless.php (current as of 9 Jul 2005) or http://www.iconz.co.nz/bus_wiredcountry.php for business connections.
