Who is he
GerwinVanDeSteeg, the guy slowly going mad in the corner. (Altho some might claim you can't go something you already are)
A rather spontaneous kinda guy. Hopefully graduating from WaikatoUniversity this year with a degree in ComputerTechnology and going on to greener pastures. Being a student bum isn't all that great.
Used to work for a software development company as senior software engineer, system/network administrator, tech support, and odd guy in the corner who'll help you if you ask him nicely.
That was until the company ceased to exist, much to my annoyance.
Programming uselessly simple utilities to make my life as a coder and a dungeons & dragons guy easier.
Programs will get writen in a plethora of languages, usually whichever is closest to hand or the one I happen to be playing with at that point in time.
Usually it'll be one of the following languages

I think it was just plain good luck on my part that my parents Immigrated here and that I got to tag along, or the massive amount of incredibly bad luck accumulated in the Waikato by it's residents.

- What GerwinVanDeSteeg doesn't know about x86 AssemblyLanguage programming probably isn't worth knowing.
- Occasionally surprises himself by writing flawless and bug-less code using many different forms of pointers, structures, unions, casts, and address references.
- Can usually be found somewhere on IRC, on one of UnderNet's servers, going by the name TIK_.
Pet Hates
- People who cannot spell properly, form grammatically correct sentences, or use some form of l33t sp34k. Using excessive punctuation is a different matter however.
- People who do not use apropriate white space to make code easy to read instead of stringing things together, the exception to this is any obfuscated program or Perl program.

Todo list thingamy
- Write some sort of usefull program one of these days
- Multi-lingual internationalized compiler
- An operating system
- A usefull programming language
- Some interesting scripting language for game data
- Get organised
- Move away from this hole in the ground. This hole happens to be in the middle of nowhere to some, or halfway to everywhere when talking about the NorthIsland of NewZealand
- Get a decent internet connection, 2400 baud just doesn't quite do anymore these days. Although it is enough for IRC.
