iltonham (a mis-spelling of Hamilton) is an IRC channel on UnderNet. The name comes from a story that AndrewMcGregor wrote about WalmitTheHermit, back in the BulletinBoardSystem days. The channel was founded by OliverJones, DanielLawson, and PerryLorier and has no real purpose other than to be a place to hang out and chat with past and present Hamilton Geeks.

OliverJones was originally the official "channel owner", which doesn't mean much other than that he was the one who filled out the form on UnderNet's WebSite. When he stopped logging in, CService asked for a new owner. Since PerryLorier has too much on his plate already, and DanielLawson is already channel owner of #wlug? (apparently UnderNet dislike people being 500 in more than one channel), JamesSpooner was the voted new owner.

GreigMcGill thinks the channel is not quite dead yet.
