I don't actually live in the Waikato, I now live in Melbourne Australia. However I grew up in Taupo which is south of Waikato in New Zealand's North Island and attended WaikatoUniversity from 1994 to 1998 graduating with a BSc in SoftwareEngineering. Which is where I met many of the great guys who are involved with the WLUG.
I continue to use Linux on servers but have moved to the Mac for desktop/laptop. I'm always interested in advocating the use of Linux and OpenSource & FreeSoftware.
