getegid - get effective group identity

SYNOPSIS

gid_t getegid(void);

DESCRIPTION

getegid(2) returns the effective group ID of the current process.

The effective ID corresponds to the set ID bit on the file being executed. See EffectiveID for more information.

ERRORS

This functions are always successful.
