Jobs performed by the outgoing WLUG secretary, either by design, or just things that have been picked up, that need to be reassigned:
Committee meetings
- Seeding the wiki with "a committee meeting will happen on this day" pages for the agreed meeting dates (normally done annually in advance) - this powers the reminder bot
- Preparing the agenda
- Printing agenda/minute handout sheets
- Tabling any correspondence
- Taking minutes (easiest when done online during the meeting)
- Updating wiki pages as required after meeting
Regular meetings
- Writer of wiki pages promoting current meetings, and promotion on other sits (ie linux.net.nz, Computerworld, etc)
- Seeding the wiki with "a WLUG meeting will happen on this day" pages for the agreed meeting dates (normally done annually in advance)
- Projector provider at meetings
- Changing category to OldMeetingTopics after a meeting
- Maintaining a MeetingTopics.year page
- Changing the MeetingTopics to include the right MeetingTopics.year page
Society stuff
- Management of officers with MED (see CommitteeHandover)
- PO Box recipient (currently bank statements, society communication)
Membership management
- Production of membership forms
- Processing membership forms & maintaining database
- Mailouts to previous members asking them to resubscribe
