While the WLUG is open to all comers, there's a few sub-groupings within the club that might help to explain some of the culture in the WlugWiki, the WlugMailingList and at meetings.
There are a lot of people that don't like MicrosoftWindows (however, see WlugIncorporated -- the role of the WaikatoLinuxUsersGroup is to advocate Linux/OSS, not to be Anti-MicrosoftCorporation)
In the most part, the vocal supporters of the WLUG will be under 30, IT professionals or students, but this doesn't mean that if you do not fit that stereotype you shouldn't get involved. We try and follow the CodeOfEthics.
