-Intermezzo was started by one of the developers of [ Coda], with all the same goals, along with the goal that accessing files shouldn't be any slower than using a local file system (since they are cached locally)
+[ Intermezzo] was started by a former developer of Coda as a simpler implementation of the same goals: an advanced scalable NetworkFileSystem that supports DisconnectedOperation. Additionally, it was meant to perform as well as a local FileSystem and run over well-established [Protocol]s such as [HTTP]

-Intermezzo is available from [Intermezzo|http://www .inter-mezzo.org/] , but has been abandoned since 2002. The developers from Intermezzo are now working on [Lustre], but Lustre seems to be focused on large network clusters and disconnected operation wont be available until v2.. Seems [Coda] will be the way to go
+It did reach version 1 .x but doesn't seem to be anywhere near production quality yet , and was abandoned in 2002 in favour of [Lustre].
