GoboLinux is a LinuxDistribution which radically changes the directory structure, leaving FHS in the dust. It's mainly a curiosity, but it works, and it proposes an interesting way of handling domain specific Package repositories such as CPAN, gem, LuaRocks, etc in the context of a distribution's PackageManagement system.
