FreeView is a free-to-air Digital Television broadcast.<br> The same name is used in England and New Zealand and possibly Australia as well.<br> There are presently two sources of FreeView signal: * Satellite, [DVB-S] via the Optus D1 bird, where Sky pay-tv comes from * Terrestrial, DVB-T via UHF DVB-T may also offer Higher Definition than DVB-S, which is marketed as FreeView|HD.
