Lustre is a networked filesystem designed for very large clusters. It's intended to be highly scalable, and provide high availability, and amazing performance. Version 1.0 is available, and features like disconnected operation are planned for 2.0
It's meant to be the replacement for Intermezzo which is meant to be a better Coda.
