Several people have IPAQs. IPAQs can run linux, but IMO this is really silly, unless you don't want to use it as an organisational tool. The linux stuff is fine, but its a little heavy on the RAM usage.

IPAQs can also syncronise with software running on your workstation. The best thing to sync it with is MicrosoftOutlook, however, it doesn't have a Linux port ;).

I have come across "multisync" which is a generic syncing tool for PDA's, and PIM software for linux. It has an IPAQ module, and an Evolution module. See http://multisync.sourceforge.net/. I'll report back on my success with this later.
