The default APN (Access Point) for VodaFone is <tt>www.vodafone.net.nz</tt>, this however is on their internal network (has an IP address in the private range) and will not let [VPN] ([PPTP]) connections through. |

If you wish to use a VPN you will need to change your connection profile to use an [APN] that provides a public IP address. Vodafone suggest changing the connection profile to connect to <tt>web.vodafone.net.nz</tt> |
