+A FloppyDisk is a flexible (ie a "floppy" ) magnetic disc contained in a usually square plastic wallet. In "ancient " times , it was the most common storage device, but they have become inpractical due to limited capacity (2.88 [MB ] at most). Bootable [FloppyDisk]s are still a common rescue system carrier.
