+I was
a student at HillcrestHighSchool for about 5 years and completed
7th form in 2005
. I will be attending WaikatoUniversity in 2006
doing ComputerScience (BCMS) using the scholarship I aquired late 2005
.
-I generaly tend to aquire computers that people are throwing out and use them for parts or on my network for doing various things. I prefer to collect
computers and hardware produced by Digital Equipment Corporation but generaly, if its free and in reasonably good condition (or has useful parts) i will take it. In my current collection I currently have 3 Venturis 575s, a dead Venturis FX-2, some DECpc's, a big pile of Prolinea 575e's and Deskpro 2000s, some random generic machines, a few compaq servers (PL850R, PL1500R, somthing else), a DECserver 100 (what ever that is) and some other junk.

The network is currently run off a Compaq PL850R runing Netware 4.11 along with a few prolinea 575's that work nicely as linux print servers off 16MB ram and a few mb hdd space. Smoothwall on a Deskpro 4000 connects my 56k modem to my network.
I can be contacted via MSN or GoogleTalk during the afternoons and weekends or via email [mailto:dgsoftnz@gmail.com] at anytime.
