texlinks - maintain symbolic links from format to engine

!!DESCRIPTION


__texlinks__ is used to create or recreate symbolic lines
from formats to engines according to the information in
''fmtutil.cnf'' or a file specified with
__--cnffile__.


''DIRECTORIES'' is an optional list of directories in
which to operate. If no directories are specified the list
of directories depends on the __--multiplatform__
option.

__--help__ or __-h__


show some help text


__--cnffile__ ''FILE'' or __-f__
''FILE''


use file as configuration file (default:
''fmtutil.cnf'')


__--verbose__ or __-v__


set verbose mode on (default: off)


__--multiplatform__ or __-m__


operate in all platform-specific directories (default:
operate only in the directory for this
platform)


__--silent__ or __-s__


silently skip over existing scripts/binaries instead of
printing a warning
