texdoc - Utility to maintain TeX format files

!!DESCRIPTION


__texdoc__ seaches for ''NAME'' in the TeX
documentation and starts an appropriate viewer.


''NAME'' should be the name of a command or package in
the teTeX distribution.
!!OPTIONS


__--help__


Display a brief summary of options.


__-l__


List matching files. Does not start a viewer.


__-v__


Sets verbose mode. Shows the command being used to display
the documentation.
!!ENVIRONMENT


__$TEXDOCVIEW_dvi__


DVI viewer. Defaults to xdvi(1).


__$TEXDOCVIEW_pdf__


PDF viewer. Defaults to acroread(1).


__$TEXDOCVIEW_ps__


!PostScript viewer. Defaults to
ghostview(1).


__$TEXDOCVIEW_html__


HTML viewer. Defaults to netscape(1).


__$TEXDOCVIEW_txt__


Text viewer. Defaults to __$PAGER-more__.
