powertweakd - Powertweak daemon
powertweakd [''--config-file'' file''? [''--no-daemon''? [''--no-info''? [''--profile-dir'' dir''?
The powertweakd daemon applies configuration tweaks to the system. It is primarily intended to be controlled using the powertweak or gpowertweak programs.
-c, --config-file
Specify the file to read settings from.
--no-daemon
Run in the foreground rather than as a daemon.
--no-info
Do not use information-only tweaks.
-p, --profile-dir
Specify the directory in which profile information can be found
--version
Show the version of program then exit.
/etc/powertweak/tweaks
Default configuration file. When the set of currently active tweaks is saved they will be stored in this file. On startup powertweakd will parse this file (unless another is specified with the -c or --config-file options) and apply the tweaks defined to the system.
powertweakd can be used to make hardware and kernel level changes to your system configuration. These changes may adversely affect system performance and may lead to system crashes or data corruption. Due caution should therefore be exercised when using this program.
