Create the DIRECTORY(ies), if they do not already
exist.


__-m__, __--mode__=''MODE''


set permission mode (as in chmod), not rwxrwxrwx -
umask


__-p__, __--parents__


no error if existing, make parent directories as
needed


__-v__, __--verbose__


print a message for each created directory


__--help__


display this help and exit


__--version__


output version information and exit
