''TEXINFO-FILE''... !!DESCRIPTION Translate Texinfo source documentation to various other formats, by default Info files suitable for reading online with Emacs or standalone GNU Info. __General options:__ __--error-limit__=''NUM'' quit after NUM errors (default 100). __--force__ preserve output even if errors. __--help__ display this help and exit. __--no-validate__ suppress node cross-reference validation. __--no-warn__ suppress warnings (but not errors). __--reference-limit__=''NUM'' warn about at most NUM references (default 1000). __-v__, __--verbose__ explain what is being done. __--version__ display version information and exit. __Output format selection (default is to produce Info):__ __--docbook__ output !DocBook rather than Info. __--html__ output HTML rather than Info. __--no-headers__ output plain text, suppressing Info node separators and Node: lines; also, write to standard output without __--output__. __--xml__ output XML (TexinfoML) rather than Info. __General output options:__ __-E__, __--macro-expand__ FILE output macro-expanded source to FILE. ignoring any @setfilename. __--no-split__ suppress splitting of Info or HTML output, generate only one output file. __--number-sections__ output chapter and sectioning numbers. __-o__, __--output__=''FILE'' output to FILE (directory if split HTML), __Options for Info and plain text:__ __--enable-encoding__ output accented and special characters in Info output based on @documentencoding. __--fill-column__=''NUM'' break Info lines at NUM characters (default 72). __--footnote-style__=''STYLE'' output footnotes in Info according to STYLE: `separate' to put them in their own node; `end' to put them at the end of the node in which they are defined (default). __--paragraph-indent__=''VAL'' indent Info paragraphs by VAL spaces (default 3). If VAL is `none', do not indent; if VAL is `asis', preserve existing indentation. __--split-size__=''NUM'' split Info files at size NUM (default 50000). __Input file options:__ __--commands-in-node-names__ allow @ commands in node names. __-D__ VAR define the variable VAR, as with @set. __-I__ DIR append DIR to the @include search path. __-P__ DIR prepend DIR to the @include search path. __-U__ VAR undefine the variable VAR, as with @clear. __Conditional processing in input:__ __--ifhtml__ process @ifhtml and @html even if not generating HTML. __--ifinfo__ process @ifinfo text even when generating HTML. __--iftex__ process @iftex and @tex text; implies __--no-split__. __--no-ifhtml__ do not process @ifhtml and @html text. __--no-ifinfo__ do not process @ifinfo text. __--no-iftex__ do not process @iftex and @tex text.
