NAME
       am_tool  -  Answering Maschine tool. Handles many playback
       options running on a client or  a  server.  If  run  on  a
       client,  this  same  programm is invoqued using rsh on the
       server. the rsh-command has to work without  password  for
       this programm to work correctly.


SYNOPSIS
       am_tool [-h | -v]


DESCRIPTION
       am_tool  is  usually  invoqued  as  am_ls,  am_rm,  am_mv,
       am_play, am_playall or am_rec.

       Help on each programm is  reached  invoquin  it  with  the
       option -h.


OPTIONS
       -h shows the main help page

       -v shows version information


INVOCATION
       am_ls  lists voice messages newer than the timesatmp situ-
       ated in the incoming directory. For further  informations,
       take a look at the builtin help.

       am_rm  deletes  voice  messages.  You  can  use any option
       listed when invoqued with -h, but  be  carefull  when  you
       deactivate the interactive mode using -f, as deleted files
       cannot be undeleted.

       am_mv moves voice files around  to  the  "old"  directory.
       Acts interactively unless invoqued with -f.

       am_play Interactive voice-message managing programm. For a
       complete help, take a look at the builtin  help.  You  can
       listen, move, delete, rename voice messages.

       am_playall  Non  interactive part ov am_play. It sends all
       voice messages to  the  audio  device,  depending  on  the
       options  given.  Take  a look at the Help with "am_playall
       -h"

       am_rec creates an adpcm3 coded Voice file that can be used
       as message for the voice functionality of the ZyXEL Modem.
       Use "am_rec -h" for help.
