imagemagick for Debian
----------------------
Before you submit to BTS.
0) The upstream autors have own BTS for ImageMagick. If the problem origin is
the upstream, please send the bug report to them not to me. Indeed, when I
receive the mail from BTS, I always do forwarding the mail only. I will
not fix the problem, because I'm not the upstream author and the upstream
authors update ImageMagick freqently. Of course, the packaging problem
occures, you can send the bug report to me.
1) I will not upload the -lzw version, previous maintainer upload it to
non-free). If you realy need this version, please build it by yourself.
(See debian/rules file)
2) When you submit BTS, you send the image(s) file which you used.
3) Because the current (24 Feb 2000) Debian does not include 'mpeg' command.
(c.f. mpeg2vidcodec_v12.tar.gz (ftp.mpeg.org)), imagemagick cannot
handle mpeg format.
4) I build image magick with -enable-16bit-pixel. If you have a problem about
depth of image, you can set -depth 8 for option.
