This is the Debian GNU prepackaged version of mawk, an implementation
of the AWK Programming Language.  mawk was written by Mike Brennan
<brennan@whidbey.com>

This package was put together by Chris Fearnley <cjf@netaxs.com>,
from sources obtained from:
