RUN-WITH-ASPELL(L) RUN-WITH-ASPELL(L)

NAME
run-with-aspell - A script to help use aspell as an ispell
       replacement

SYNOPSIS
       run-with-aspell <command>

DESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the run-with-aspell
interactive spell checker. This manual page was written
for the Debian GNU/Linux distribution because the original
program does not have a manual page. Instead, it has doc-
umentation in HTML and text formats; see below.

The recommended way to use aspell as a replacement for
ispell is to change the ispell command from within the
program being used. If that is not possible, the run-
       with-aspell script can be used.

OPTIONS
       <command>
is the name of the program with any optional argu-
              ments.

The old method of mapping ispell to aspell is discouraged
because it can create compatibilty problems with programs
that actually require ispell such as ispell's own scripts.

run-with-aspell is fully documented in aspell-doc package.
Install that package and see /usr/share/doc/aspell-
       doc/man-html and /usr/share/doc/aspell-doc/man-text.
