ROSEGARDEN(N) ROSEGARDEN(N) NAME rosegarden - integrated music notation editor and midi sequencer for X SYNOPSIS /usr/bin/rosegarden DESCRIPTION Rosegarden is a an integrated music notation editor and MIDI sequencer for Xwindows. Extensive on-line help is provided. Note that /usr/bin/rosegarden is actually a shell-script which sets environment variables and then starts the pro- gram. OPTIONS None. RESOURCES Rosegarden understands standard X11 and Xaw toolkit options, and uses a few of its own. editorName Gives the full path to the Rosegarden notation editor. sequencerName Gives the full path to the Rosegarden midi sequencer. helpFile Gives the full path to the Rosegarden help file. midiFmPatchFile Gives the full path to the default midi patch file to be used in FM synthesis mode. midiFMDrumPFile Gives the full path the the default midi patch file to be used for Drum sounds in FM synthesis mode. filtersDirectory Gives the full path to the directory containing filters for the Rosegarden Petal scripting lan- guage. $HOME/.rosepetal-filters is also searched by default musicDirectory The default directory to use when trying to open Rosegarden music files. midiPort The default midi port to be used for MIDI I/O. ENVIRONMENT Rosegarden uses the environment variable ``TCLLIBPATH'' to locate the tclmidi scripting language. This environment variable is correctly set up by the initialization script.
