The difference between a geek and a nerd? is that the geek can get chicks.
Some geek?s resent the term and would prefer something more glamarous to replace it.. like William Gibson's Cowboys.
Others view geek? as a complement, not an insult. It is statement of respect towards one's ability or knowledge. It's being called a nerd?, however, that gets these geek?s riled up.
