+recently i planned to recompile my kernel..and i had to make some changes to my grub.conf file....but its nowhere to be found../etc/grub.conf points to a broken link....../boot/grub/grub.conf does'nt exits........infact /boot has just one file...a kernel.h file..i even tried making one grub.conf file myself...but the system does'nt boots using the new file...still the old file is used by grub...GOD only knows where is the file gone and hiding......and yes , i even checked the file is not hidden..i have searched the file..
