There is a long standing ReligiousWar over the correct pronounciation of this, Of course, ''syss op'' is correct, and ''sigh sop'' is wrong. :) The most common usage of [SysOp] is as the person who ran a [BulletinBoardSystem]. ''I have never ever heard anyone pronounce this as "sigh sop", and if I did, I would probably have to hurt them on principle.
