Hopefully you've had the chance to try out the software we were giving away. If you're not sure where to start, have a look at Firefox or OpenOffice.org on the Kiaora CD, or restart the computer with the Ubuntu CD in.

Waikato Linux Users Group (WLUG) exists to support and advocate free and open source software. We run monthly meetings and offer support through our website at http://www.wlug.org.nz/, which has a large knowledge base and links to our mailing list and web forums.

Our next meeting is on Monday and information about it can be found at http://wlug.org.nz/MeetingTopics.2006-09-25. The venue is room TW.2.07 at Waikato University (off Gate 4) and the start time is 7:30 pm. Free pizza will be provided!
