I'm studying at college for a 'BTEC National Diploma' in Electrical and Electronic engineering. I hope one day to get a job in IT or the electronics industry.

My (limited) experience with Linux so far has mainly been simply trying out the various different distros (I have tried RedHat, [Mandrake], [Debian] and [Knoppix]). I gave up with regular Debian, as the installer was rather too cryptic for me, and stuck with Knoppix which leaves me with a working, fully-functional Debian-based system in under twenty minutes.
