A very sexy machine with a [MIPS] [RISC] chip. Often blue or purple in color, they were hipper than the IMac when people would have confused an IMac for [Emacs]. Some people own these, and some people also own [Alpha]Stations. Why do these people bother? Sure, it's nice to learn another architecture, but if you're only going to use [Debian] on it... *sigh*. Get an old PC - they aren't as sexy but they're infinitely more useful!
