The data stored in __pixels__ is assumed to be of the __depth__ specified in the parameter list. The pixel data is not copied into the __SDL_Surface__ structure so it should no be freed until the surface has been freed with a called to ''SDL_!FreeSurface''. __pitch__ is the length of each scanline in bytes.
