PuTTY is a [Telnet]- and [SSH]-client for [Windows] that can do xterm|XtermNotes emulation. It was created 1998 and it's first [SSH]-connection was made May 29th. PuTTY is only 348Kb and doesn't need any installation, just [download | http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/ ] and run.
