I have been using computers since my parents bought a used Commodore Vic20 some years ago.
Since then I have owned/had use of:

I have been using Linux since 1996 (Slackware - kernel 1.2) though it was more of a curiosity at that stage. Started seriously down the *nix path late 1999.

Currently:

  • using Debian 2.2 with partial upgrade to 3.0 (modems are so slow).
  • Still booting Win98 for some games
  • WLUG mailing list lurker (can't make the meetings until 2003)
  • Playing with TCL/TK, Perl,
