An [Acronym] for NewZealand __N__etwork __O__perators' __G__roup. It's a public mailing list, which you can find at http://list.waikato.ac.nz/mailman/listinfo/nznog. While you're floating around list.waikato.ac.nz you might want to check out the archives of the WlugMailingList. NZNOG hold an annual conference, two of which have been held at WaikatoUniversity, run by the WandGroup. Info on the conferences can be found at the nznog website http://www.nznog.org. The conferences are a great excuse for the tech people to get managment to pay for them to all get together and drink plenty of beer in-between making lot of new contacts. At the NZNOG'05 conference, a NewZealandInternetHistory draft was started.
