NZLUG is an Acronym for NewZealand LinuxUsersGroup.

See http://www.linux.net.nz for the NZLUG's site. They host links to NZ's other Linux User groups, as well as their own MailingList at http://www.linux.net.nz/lists/NZLUG/ and some other useful tidbits.

Contrary to popular belief NZLUG is for New Zealand Discussion of Linux. It has had an active Auckland-based membership and because of this (and the lack up untill now of an active Auckland LUG) it seems some people see it as Auckland-Biased. This is not the case. All are welcome and infact, invited.

An Auckland LUG, called funnily enough AuckLUG, is found at http://auckland.linux.net.nz and has more than 70 subscribers already as of end June 2005. AuckLUG will now provide a focal point for Linux related events in the Auckland Region, and has taken over the role of events-LUG from NZLUG in Auckland, leaving NZLUG to concentrate on the bigger-picture - Linux and LUG's nationwide.

If you're a Linux User or enthusiast from New Zealand, or simply keen to interact with kiwi's who are fans of this remarkable OS, please join us.
