MicrosoftExcel is a SpreadSheet that borrowed most of its features and functionality from SpreadSheets prior to it, such as Lotus 123. (Were you expecting anything else?)
We don't have enough data in here to interest anybody in editing it. There has to be a tipping point somewhere but this is not it. I guess the page really exists to define the product, in case anyone doesn't actually know what it is.
If you get a spreadsheet in Microsoft's .XLS spreadsheet format, you can open it with OpenOffice or Gnumeric.
