Introduction to Linux and Network Security.

A fairly high-level discussion of various aspects of security, looking at topics such as:

  • Firewalls
  • Network Address Translation (NAT)
  • De-militirized zones (DMZs)
  • Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and IPSec
  • Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)

Doors will be open from ten to seven or so, presentation will start shortly after 7.
