About Lindsay

LindsayDruett used to work in NAD (Network Administration and Development) as a NetworkEngineer, which is part of ITS division of WaikatoUniversity where he installs, configures, and generally plays with all the Cisco equipment on the campus. His line manager was then The BastardOperatorFromHell.

He now works for FX Networks Ltd as a Senior NetworkEngineer doing various roles mainly in the upper region (Taupo upwards) of the North Island. He also owns an internet hosting service, Wired Networks Limited.

Linsdsay is the 2005-2006 President of the WaikatoLinuxUsersGroup Incorporated.

Lindsay holds various Cisco certifications.

• Analog SIP Gateway using a Cisco ATA-186 and a small PBX
• WM-918 automatic weather station using WX200d for gathering data and submitting to Wunderground
