Jon is a programmer for ReelTwo and fan of Anime, AppleMacintoshs, PalmPilots and HPCalculators.

He is currently implementing Ni (LanguageNi?) with PerryLorier, as part of the CAKE2? project.

Occasionally he gets talked into building a computer for Perry (such as T.H.E.C.A.L.C.?), but realises his folly during the inevitable arguments about how to implement the memory management system, etc.

Jon's main computer for many years was a 286 running DOS. During this time he was known as The286Crusader?. Now's its a Tangerine iMac running MacOSX.

Jon was a member of the WaikatoLinuxUsersGroup, but got kicked off the mailing list (for being subscribed with his WaikatoUniversity email address when it was deleted when he stopped being a student) and hasn't been to a meeting since.
