A Java-based framework for responding to HTTP requests. ApacheTomcat? is the ReferenceImplementation. The name is an adaptation of MicrosoftCorporation's ApplicationServerPage? or ASP, but JSP inherits the CrossPlatform nature of Java allowing JSP applications to run on any platform.
StuartYeates works on a JSP application which compiles out-of-the-box on Windows, Linux and BSD platforms.
