Gateway Christian Center, 950 Victoria Street, Hamilton (click address for map) 10am to 5pm, Saturday 6th of October.

This is a meeting where people can bring their computer along and we will help them to install the free Linux operating system, either by itself or sharing the hard-drive with whatever operating system is already installed. We'll also try to help people who already use Linux and want help setting up any particular software or driver. WLUG will provide table space, power, a network connection, free Ubuntu Linux CDs and lots of helpful volunteers.

Housekeeping.

We have hired the back part of the Gateway Christian Centre, which involves the main room, adjoining kitchen and smaller room. For those who know the complex, we've hired the Toddlers Crèche, Young Mums Room, and Downstairs Kitchen. There are also toilets available. Please look after the building.

Please don't venture beyond the hired areas and toilets. While most areas are locked, the entrance to the auditorium isn't, but it is alarmed around the stage and sound desk area which will have active at the time. We also need to respect that other users may be using other areas of the complex at the same time.

No smoking in buildings or near any open building entrance doors.

No alcohol is to be consumed on the premises.

At completion of the event, we need to have tables, chairs, etc packed up, and the place left clean. It would be greatly appreciated if some people remain after the event and assist in some way with the cleaning. These areas will be used immediately the next morning.

Security is paramount for all parties involved. If there is anything untoward, please notify one of the event facilitators immediately.
