[Acronym] for InternetProtocol version 6. Sometimes called IPng. IPv6 has more addresses and funky new features such as different address scopes (LinkLocal,SiteLocal,GlobalScope), AnyCast, and MultiCast (and no more BroadCast), unfortunately no one supports it yet.
