Acronym for Internet Protocol.

This is what makes the Internet, TheInternet?. All hosts on The Internet must speak IP. There are currently two versions of IP:

  • IPv4 which everyone and their dog uses.
  • IPv6 which everyone wishes everyone else used, but won't use until everyone else uses it.

Someone want to copy some 312 lecture notes on IP in here somewhere?
