A Hacker tends to have a huge beard.
Why? I guess it's because shaving takes time that you can use for programming. Like cooking dinner.
RMS and AlanCox have hackers' beards. LinusTorvalds does not.
Previously people may have noticed that 
PerryLorier was growing a Hacker Beard, but thankfully for civilization he seems to stopped.
