3 Administrators use Group Policy to specify options for managed configurations for groups of computers and users. Group Policy includes options for registry-based policy settings, security settings, software installation, scripts, folder redirection, Remote Installation Services, InternetExplorer maintenance, and other components.

5 Policy settings are contained in Group Policy objects (GPOs), which can be linked to domains, sites, and [OrganisationalUnit]s in ActiveDirectory. GPOs are most commmonly linked to OUs.
