The search engine to end all search engines, developed at StanfordUniversity. Running on what is probably the world's biggest Linux Cluster, currently processing over 150,000,000 queries a day, searching a multi-terabyte web index for every query with an average response time of less than a quarter of a second, with near-100% uptime.

Actually http://www.archive.org/ is probably the biggest one, but I'm not sure. They certainly have more storage capacity than Google. Anyone with more facts please AddToMe. --AristotlePagaltzis

Besides the main Google page, there are region specific ones like the NewZealand version, which appear to be mainly about selling regoin-specific adds and ``Sponsored Links''

http://www.google.com/news?q=linux&num=50 can be a good alternative to SlashDot for those not into flamefests (at least that's what I use---StuartYeates).

If you're outside NewZealand, it's very likely you found the WlugWiki through Google!
