Fedora is...
|^A type of hat: |^
|^Most commonly worn by this gentleman: |^
Relevant because it is the name of a project to build packages for RedHatLinux. With the emergence of the RedHatLinuxProject, Fedora will probably be rolled into RedHatLinux - chances are its' standards will be used as the basis for the new community.
In the meantime, they package a lot of stuff that RedHat won't, can't, or didn't.
Plus, they're cool cos they use a .us domain, instead of an international one and then claiming that America == The World (NetworkSolutions told me that once.)
Fedora packages can be gained using AptForRpm. See their HOWTO.
