Acronym for Friend of a Friend
FOAF is a RDF Schema for talking about people and their "properties" (such as name, email address, homepage, weblog, gender, who they know etc).
The concepts behind FOAF are conceptually similar to the WebOfTrust but completely different in implementation, culture and security consciousness.
