Eddie is a HighAvailability clustering toolkit. It's OpenSource and written in the functional programming language Erlang.
Eddie consists of two parts
Because of it's design and use of a weird DNS server Eddie can support load balancing over geographically seperated servers. This would be useful for having different servers in different countries!
